Whats the best surf school in Newquay?!

Hi

Me and my boyf are coming down in September for surfing lessons. We've seen some good deals for surfing lessons and accomodation on the net. We want (as does everyone!) cheap but good surfing lessons and accomodation. We can body board but are first time surfers! Can anyone help?!

Thanks

Helen

Theres already hundreads of threads on this subject if you use the search button

Anyway....

The only surf school I have experienced first hand is the one actully on Fistral beach. The instructors were really cool and I had a great day

Others to checkout would be

www.121surfcoach.com
http://www.extremeacademy.co.uk

Roescliston is a great campsite but depending on the weather in sept you might be beter off a B&B i'm sure someone else can advise you on that

Big surf school groups suck be careful

Hey
Just thought i would add my two piece! I had a surf lesson with a surf school last year and it cost me £35 for the day at Watergate Bay. It was cool but i struggled with actually staying on if and when i got up. The instructors 3 of them struggled to keep over thrity of us together and didn't really spend much time coaching. At the start of this summer i went back to Watergate and saw a leaflet for private surf coaching. For a little bit more i booked a two hour lesson and had non stop coaching from them, this really helped, it was well worth the extra tenner or whatever it was! I saw recently the tee comp this site was running and im sure it's the same company. www.121surfcoach.com im pretty sure the guy was called Chris.
anyway looking forward to getting back down to the 'quay v sooooooooon
City sucks!
