Can I just say that I have been trying to learn to surf all summer in S Wales and everytime I tried, there was no surf. So I've just come back from a weekend in Newquay where I finally had my first lesson and the water was surprisingly warm. Gonna keep going all winter now, just get a 6mm wetsuit and rash vest to keep warm. You must learn now.
