Question surfing in newquay

hello everybody,

Coming summer i'm going to surf for the first time, and I'm going to newquay.
i've got some questions:

To which surf school should i go? I want that it's not to expensive, but it have to be a good one. (ofcourse )
How long should I get lessons? Is 2 days enough, so you can surf on your one after that, or should I take lessons for a week?

thats all for now.

Jacob

it makes sense to go to a school for at least one lesson just to learn the basics. it depends on how confident you feel after one lesson.i've never been to any school in newquay but theres a list on the site which you could use
hope you have a great time in newquay

Isn't it good to make a reservation? Or isn't it that crowded?

(by the way, did you mention I'm not from the UK? I'm just practicing my english )

I went to escape surf school last year and it was great, I went out of season so don't know about reservations, http://www.escapesurfschool.co.uk is the web-site just email them maybe? We booked 4 lessons in total, although I think we only really needed two maybe as it becomes more about just practice, but we were lucky in that we all picked it up very quickly and it was out of season so perhaps wasn't as busy as it would be mid-summer, which always makes it easier. But yeah I would recommend those guys for a couple of lessons to get you going before you hire
