Hey Guys,

I know this has probably been asked a million times, but im coming down to Newquay in 2 weeks time, specifically to learn to surf, and was wondering, will I be able to get Lessons when I get down there or am I better booking a few before I come?

Also what are the beeches like this time of year as far as busyness is concerned?, as I was planning on bringing my bodyboard down with me, however have not done it in a few years so wouldnt mind somewhere quiet to get to grips with it again.

Hi Andy

Definately get yourself booked in with the Quiksilver surf school which is run out of the Boarding House which is only a few 100 metres (Headland Rd) from fistral beach. The school is run by an Ex-European champ and have lessons throughout the week during summer. It'd be best to pre-book this time of year aswell....the Boarding house do packages which include accomodation and surf lessons-defo the best place in Newquay!
