Hey! new member!

Hey everyone!

I am coming to Newquay in sept and can’t wait! I am living in Fueteventura at the moment as my original plan at the beginning of the summer was to come here and learn to surf! But here you can’t really get to the good beaches without car! Bummer!

So I have decided to head back to the uk and try in newquay, Is the surf ok for beginners that time of year? Also just some advice needed on my board if anyone can help? I know what type of board I need to get to learn and how much they cost here (euros) can anyone tell me how much they go for there? And if you can buy them ex from the school shops etc...

Thanx

Nat

Hi NAT & welcome to the forum.

As far as boards go in NEWQUAY speak to Andy at TUNNEL VISION by SOMMERFIELDS or another good recommendation is the people at SUNSET SURF up near the RED LION.

Surf always depends on the weather & climatic conditions (such as storms) out in the atlantic, so the surf around & in Newquay can be good for all levels depending.
