Talking Another Newbie :):)....

Hey all how's it going

i have always been into the whole surfing scene but never have tested the water

ive just come back off holiday from tennerife most days i would be watching people ride the waves, not huge but i just wanted to get in their and have a go

So now that i am back im determined to teach my self how to surf !!! or would you recommend getting lessons ???

i live on the south coast near Bournmouth/Brighton so these will hopefully be my local places to go anyone tried these beaches ???

im not to sure as which board i should get any ideas or should i speak to some specialists ?? im bout 5ft10 !! so bit of a short ass !!!

also what other equipment should i buy or will this come already with the board ???
