What board to get?

Hoping to get some lessons very soon and then get to the beach as often as possible throughout the year.

What kind of board is best to get for a beginner who is 6'5" around 200lbs?

Looking at doing at least a good 4 or 5 weeks over the course of the year, a week at a time and I ideally want a board that I wont have to replace as soon as I am able to surf.

Thanks for any help.

Been doing some more reading and the "Fatboy Flyer" comes highly reccommended.

Something around the 7'6" length for my height.
Does this sound right for a beginner?

I've been wondering about one of these also.

I'm 6ft about 15 stone. I was recommended to get a minimal of 7ft 10.

However, I'm now seeing more and more shops recommending fat boy flyers of 7ft 6 or 7ft 8 as beginners boards / intermediate boards / larger persons short boards due to high stability from their width, higher planing speed due to the width and channels and better turning ability than a minimal due to tail design (often fish tailed).

Anyone know much about these as a minimal alternative for intermediates / beginners?
