hi i was one my first surfing lesson at watergate bay a few months back it was awesome teaching could of been a little better but i loved it and I am looking at doing a full week of lessons early next year, accomodation is not an issue as I have some friends who live down there, i've been looking at west coast sufari full week courses has any1 had any experances with them? I was looking for private lessons for a week but its quite expensive

west coast have some great instructors, i would defo recommend them, but i'm not sure there is that much to be gained from private lessons as you'll only progress in your own time, no one can help you with that! have fun
If you can afford 1 to 1 lessons then go for it as you will learn more and faster if your teacher is just teaching you alone. But alot of it is down to the teacher as there are so many bad ones out there these days
