Any beach that includes a rope slide gets my vote every day and twice on sunday.

My wifes favourite spot this one, and when the tide goes out on a warm evening walk along the beach and into town to start the night off!

Is it any good for surf though, does the line up get crowded?

I've been going to Lusty Glaze since September 74, having been born in May 74

Fantastic beach, although it has changed a fair bit.
The first place I ever played Donkey Kong - 1983 I think it was.

I remember the lifeguard back then used to be based where the shop is now. He'd occasionally give out the impossible deckchair to someone who looked like they could take a joke.

Also back then, the waves used to come right the way up the wall, but a storm in the mid 80s brought the sand up as it is now (as with Tolcarne).

There used to be a market on Wednesdays in the car park.

Best rock pool fishing was at the back of the inlet on the right - past the two caves, round the corner and double back on yourself, probably still is.

How many steps though? I say 133.
