Surf Lodge in July - Under 18's!

hello all.. me and my mates are looking to come down to newquay (from london) when we finish our gcse's so around july.. erm has any one got any advice on where we should stay or anything like that..
Were looking for something under £150 for the week..
Looked at..

Hi Matt,
me and 5 of my mates are going down to cornwall, from London, after our GCSE's too, in mid-July. We booked about 2 weeks ago, and literally went through about 10 different surf lodges, so we got to compare them. But we chose Cribber Green Rooms, it looks really fun, and it's practically on Fistral Beach the web address is : www.cribbergreenrooms.co.uk
It's between £140 and £150 depending on whether you want sea-view or en-suite etc.
We asked about parental consent, but they said you don't really need it, I suppose everyone going down to Newquay around that time is going to be under 18.

yeah, we are still undecided.. most probably going to book "base" or cribbers..
have you looked up how much the train fares are!

London paddington - newquay return = £62+ !

hey matt,
no we havn't checked train fares yet, but I know you go Paddington, then change at Par, which is then 1 hour away from Newquay. £62 is okay, I think it may be a better idea to book travel later because they may have some special deals for Newquay during the summer, but we expected it to be around that much. I think some of my friends want to go by Ryan air from Luton which I think is ridiculous but I think it somehow works out as cheaper.
Also, you should book soon, because they book up quite quickly after new year.

Hiya, me and 3 other friends are coming down to Newquay in July and staying at Base (see my thread, "4 girls off on holiday!!") so having read this thread it sounds like there are quite a few other groups of similar aged people coming down!

It would be great to have some kind of meet-up maybe? Hmmm anyway we are all up for letting our long and lovely hair down in the second week of July....

any takers?!

Hello people, we got a group of 8 lads, all 16 comin down after gcse's for parties, getting absolutely ****ed and having lots of sex on the beach! We are still lookin for accommodation, coz we can only do a long weekend (14th-17th July) so if you know any good cheap lodges/b n bs etc that are near fistral and near the town, then can u put em on here?
