The reason you get more jellyfish on the South coast is due to the fact its more sheltered than the North.

Without doubt the dirtiest beach I have ever been on, people who drop litter need a good kick in the go-nads and the council should be ashamed of themselves letting it get like it.

it's a great beach, i used to work in one of the shops in perran during the summer. much more family orientated than newquay so if youre a bunch of teens looking for a fun time I wouldn't recommend it so much, even though you can have a good night there.

i don't think a kicking is good enough.
i have always used the principal if everyone took home one more piece of rubbish than they bring then the beaches would never be dirty. Not the most prophetic of sayings and slightly daft but it's a nice principle that my parents told me and i now pass this on to my kids.
even my smallest has told plebs off for leaving rubbish behind. It really gets our goat.
i've got a 2 inch scar on the bottom of my foot from where i stood on a broken bottle left behind by some kind considerate sole, so it sort of left a lasting inpression on me (literally)
