Major ding repair!

Hey guys! Have a big old chunk out the tail of my 6'2 squash tail. kinda like a fish bite. 1 inch deep 3 wide sorta thing. have put a patch over it to-tempory job. Is putting several more and lots of resin going to alter performance of board alot (cos of weight increase)..?? I know i should have prof repair and more foam put in But 1.) £ and 2.) Im not a pro, my turns are far from vertical and am yet to progress to more complex moves.. Any advice appreciated! My board look shite!

Have it proffessionally repaired. Its not usually that expensive and its a lot cheaper than having them put right the mistakes you've made when the board starts to delaminate.
