Book Up !!

Had a few books to read this summer. Started off with Tapping the Source by Kem Nunn. Found this book to be good in places, but the end left me bitterly disappointed. Loads of sex, drugs, murder, and a little bit of surfing slipped in between. The cover says 'The all-time great surfing novel'.......well it isn't. Its a snuff novel.

I then started reading Caught Inside, by Daniel Duane. To be honest I havent finished it yet. It is a really good book, and is very descriptive, but in places it is really hard going. It gets very technical, and while all well and good, maybe not necessary. Will let you know more when I've finished it

While in The Key, I bought Nat's Nat and that's That, by Nat Young. His autobiography from his first ever surf, to his 50th year. I found this amazing (exept when he starts skiing) and after finishing the book, I wanted to meet this man and his family. There's so much in the book, along with the high's and lows of the friends and people he came across in his life. There's also a mention of the Headland Hotel, and the time he tried to buy a house overlooking Fistral in 98' Highly recommended A+
