First Time

Hi, I'm planning to go surfing for the first time this year. I was hoping to go to Newquay in June and/or September this year. Can anyone tell me if these are good times to catch some nice beginner's waves? Thanks!

The best really is to book some lessons with a surf school, someone like Blue Wings. They're a good bunch and will have youon your feet in no time.
The summer tends to be dominated by high preasure so the waves tend to be small but there should be a day or two when you can get in the water. September is normally a fairly good time for waves down here though.
As I say book some lessons and give it a go mate

Thanks a lot! I've already contacted them. Since going on holidays in Biarritz, I've always wanted to go surfing. Looks like this is the year I'm actually gonna do it! I know it might sound sad but I really can't wait.

Thanks again!
Phil
