I should be home now ... it's not fair

Mind you this didn't sound good :

By Wednesday the rescue figure had swelled - particularly after 30 bathers ignored RNLI warnings of strong rip current at Constantine Beach, North Cornwall. The spring tide whipped up strong currents and, a number of times, lifeguards asked bathers to move closer to the shore. Finally, the beach was closed until conditions were deemed safe.

Mr Broad said: "What people fail to realise is you can be standing on a sand bar up to your waist and feel quite safe. Take five steps and you tumble into a deep gully. If there's a rip current you will be dragged away."

:O

You obviously didn't read about Perranporth - 65 rescued and another 15 at Porthtowan!!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/ne...00/4138502.stm

Apparently the team from Seaside Resuce were there filming at the time so will be in the next series.

PS Apologies for CBBC link only coverage I could find!

PPS Thats a laugh in the last paragraph "the lifeguards at Perranporth couldn't remember a rip happening there before!!!" Who are they trying to kid, one of the most dangerous beaches in Cornwall!! It single handily keeps Seaside Rescue in footage!
