Been there all day < complete with wind up texts to KEONA who apparently wasn't jealous

I decided to bodyboard today so out came the WAVE REBEL & I found myself close to the competition area of the current RIPCURL BOARDMASTERS as the waves seemed to be doing their thang round there better ...
HOWEVER
Could I get a decent take off .......... NO
Could I get the board off the lip of the wave after a successful takeoff & down the glassy stuff to whip either left or right & then across its face ......... NO
Could I even if I managed the two above keep myself in the sweet spot of the wave in mother ocean ........ NO
It was such bloody hard work today despite all these bleedin tourist's < that's groccles to me boys & girls > who were doing so much better & only get to have a go every fouteen days a YEAR
Just my bleed in luck with the potential for the eyes of the surfing world on me & I was floundering like a great white in a shower cubical
Plus don't even go there in regards to TOLCARNE, the WEDGE or any of the other beaches as it just wasn't good ...
Well things to do tomorrow round Plymouth area but back Sunday & we'll see what happens
