Soundguard Surfplugs and Tim Mellors from 'The Longboard
House' (Newquay) are promoting awareness about the health risk of surfers
ear and holding the first in a wave of surfers ear awareness clinic for
surfers at 'The Longboard House' (4 Alma Place, Newquay) on the 18th August,
and the 8th and 22nd September.

I'm Rob from Surfplugs and my background is an Audiological one...
so been looking in ears for years,
coupled with this I am a surfer (18 years), have surfers ear and now promote
the risks and effects of surfers ear and manufacture custom plugs for
prevention

Tim Mellors of 'The Longboard House' has kindly provided the venue for these
clinics, in addition he himself suffers with surfers ear due to the duration
of his surfing career and is keen to promote the event. At the clinic
anybody has the opportunity of FREE advice, FREE leaflets, getting FREE ear
checks using an in-the-ear vidoe camera (see the inside of your own ear on
screen!), and we will also be promoting and making the soundguard surfplugs
here which retail at £64.99.
