Im Back!

Hello
Well we made it to newquay in the van again. got down for 5 days this time which was great. Now sitting at work with the holiday blues lol
Had some great surf and a couple of flat days. spent some time on Fistral (Great full english Breakfast!), Watergate (Now full of posh nobs! thanks jamie) and a couple of days on mowgan porth. Now we have never spent the day there before but we gave it a try and it great! got some great waves, probably got some of my best rides with some turns going on insteed of just klinging on for dear life lol
Also there alot of new stuff going on in the village with a new resturant witch is exspensive but the best food i have eaten in a v long time (Called Fire) and a new organic shop that does some great lunch stuff. also we found a little organic shop on a farm near the sun valley campsite that sold some nice meat for the BBQ. Stumbled onto the anual party on the beach on sunday as well, bit crap but cool to have some music in the background and a good atmosphere.
Anyone else been out this weekend????

I've just returned from another trip to St Ives (I kinda get the best of both worlds, get some surfing & see my father who has a business in The Digey, just down from the Tate Gallery).

It was kinda flat on the Saturday on Porthmeor, headed to Fistral which made up for it, although a little busy which was to be expected.

Unfortunetly, I had my Mini Mal 7'2 stolen in Newquay which put a dampener on things, so I was out of the water for a day or so. Brought a 6'8 Custom, which I was unable to get used to, but enjoyed trying all the same.

All in all though, had a good week, weather was tops & surf good too which made it worth while. Sadly though, my beloved Mini Mal is no longer.

Time to start saving & looking for another.........
