That's the one in SILVERTOWN (North Woolwich) which is a real ***thole area as previously mentioned!

I wonder if youl get much localism at an inner city wave pool haha

I read an article on it recently (cant remember the link) and they said it was so that london surfers had the chance to surf regularly and weren't confined to weekends and holidays, now im all for it if it increases the profile or the sport but surely it defeats the reason a lot of people surf. to me surfing is getting outdoors and the fact that mother nature almost decides when I can have a great surf is something I quite like. Before I make a solid opinion on it id quite to see it in action and maybe have a quick surf in it to see how the waves compare, i may even stop in on the way to newquay. Whens its finished that is.

There will be lots of teeth sucking, street speak, people thinking they actually come from the Caribbean or Africa when they were actually born in this country. Gold chains, chav labels instead of surf labels. Drug dealing in the toilets with robberies & car theft in the car parks ...

Not to mention the gang tussles ...
Did I mention they would also need knife arches & a shed load of security too ...

Oh yeah ... it will be great

These bloody companies should really take a long hard look what lives around these areas before they come up with these developments ...
