I'm new to this lark and looking for a decent wetsuit as I predict I'll be spending more time surfing in future.

What are good makes? I tried on the o'neil heat and it was a great fit but thought I might find something a little more high-spec for a similar price if I shop around? Something for the cold as I'm up north too!! (5:3?)

I wore a C-Skins when I had a lesson and that was nice but when I bought one I plumped for a West Edge 3/2 and I was in that until December on the East Coast. Just make sure it fits good as there is nothing worse than a saggy suit it drives ya round the bend after a while.

o'neill are good suits.

I have an Xcel suit, and love it to bits!

Best advice, go down your local surf shop, have a chat withthe dudes, and try on a few suits too.

im an east coast surfer and i wear a 5:3 Oneill psycho,I always surf all winter,snow etc and the suit is toasty warm,reasonable priced too.
