cramping conditions!

hey up i wonder if anyone can help me out!

I know people get cramp in there muscles from the cold and with tiredness but i seem to get it quite alot despite how wharm it is an how much i have surfed and mainly in the feet.
I've bean reading up on articles about what can cause it and it seems the most popular reason is because of lack of blood flow and that people have used vitiman suppliments to help, but i just wondered if anybody has any other methods which they find help if they suffer the same burden! (except for wearing boots)

any tips would be appreciated to put an end to this terror

Stretching my friend ... good old fashioned stretching before you go in & try a little pulse raiser prior to the stretch as well to get the blood pumping.

That has to be the most sensible thing AW has ever said.

Warm up before you go in.......warm body + cold water = contracting muscles

stretch, jog, then surf. i know someone that does a full on yoga routine before they get in the water.

Guess it should also go without saying that building up fitness will help, muscles dont like being used vigourously when not used to it.
