Exclamation Fistral Beach Rock Warning

In case you did not know,a lot of the sand on Fistral Beach has been washed away by storms so the exposing the rock that was beneath the sand.

So please be careful if your surfing or bodyboarding,as at one point you cant see the rocks because of the tide and you can come a cropper in shallow water over the rock. You could injure yourself or ding your board.

My source was the Spotlight programme on BBC 1 South West, after the 6.00 News.I have not text Star for ages.

The Restormal Council, said that it was not willing to fork out the money to replace the sand.As that sand will get washed away also.

And your right,it is the hour before and after High Tide that is the problem as you cant see the bare rock.

It does goes to show that as surfers should be worried about global warming.
