I've always thought about it but i find it hard to justify the cost when i wouldn't use a lot of the services they provide. I do support them though and think they do some good work. I personally try and give money to the RNLI whenever I can as my way of giving something back.

They fight for a cleaner sea, as a surfer I thought that would be something you use and at only £1.50 a week that's not even a pint of beer.

Know what ya saying about the RNLI though top people and like you we always give to the local boat house when we go somewhere.

Been a member from very small though last year I didn't renew as I swapped banks & didn't request the DD transfer so rejoined this year.
