In last months Mag they did a bit on Alan Stokes and in this months is an article with Laird Hamilton and another with Sam Lamiroy.

Tow surfing has been done for years especially in places like Hawaii which have the larger well known reef breaks.

I watched some video last year where a reasonably flat shelf of rock came near the surface in the middle of the ocean, hence it was creating some of the largest & most perfect barrels ... awesome stuff especially when over a certain height they had to use helicopters for the tow in

Some of the worlds best tow in surf it to be had on the N.W coast of Ireland. There are guys coming from all over the world to surf these spot and thay are AA+ world class waves.

A hardcare crew mind, you won't catch me paddling out (you got to know your limits) but its nice to know its there.

I'm off to surf in Ireland in September. But i can promise you guys this, there's no way I'm getting any where near the big uns Way too much of an amateur for that. But who knows in the future
