Need alittle advice!

Hi,

Well I've been surfing for a good 4 years now and need a board! I've tried everything there is really, short boards, long boards, those minimal things.. But i think I'd go for a shortboard, there so fun! What would you guys think I should get, im usually going to be surfing in 2,3-4 foot waves, (Joss Bay, Kent) So should I get something like a 6'7"? i would ideally like a 6 1 but i dont know if they would catch waves very easily, and also what make of board, I Love NSP's shortboards, they look sweet, but... I dunno!! Help!

Thanks

Dont forget, you have to take in your height and weight into consideration when buying a board.

My advice is always go into a proper surf shop, where you will get good advice.

I'd go with fish design shortboard - similar to shorty but fatter and wider to get you lift needed to pick up smaller and slower surf.

I'd contact Graeme Bunt at Local Hero Surfboards in Wadebridge and have a chat with him about your needs/wants and he will give you his honest oppinion and advice. There are meny other reputable names around, but I have spent few days at Graeme's factory and have seen first hand how he deals with his customers and how much they are important to him.

Let us know what comes out of your search.
