Hi all,

I'm new to the forum so I'll just say Hi! to start off. Got into surfing while travelling round Oz and now want to get into it on home soil...or waters.

Anyway, my mate is into his surfing and I thought it'd be a good plan to head south for his stag do. Thing is he's getting hitched in late March so we're looking at a Feb/early March Stag Do.

Is this a good time to go? Will we emerge from the sea frozen solid?

Also, any recommendations on places to stay, party and, of course, the obligatory strip joint, will be gratefully received.
