surf boots

hi have just joined forum as i have just started body boarding and will need all the help i can get i have just kitted myself out and have bought some surf boots as i am a silver surfer and need a bit of comfort !!! Please please tell me if there is an easy way to take them off also do they go inside or outside of wetsuit. thanks

Hello fellow bodyboarder

I hate the term sponger so I don't use it!
After nearly three quarters of a lifetime surfing I started bodyboarding about seven years ago & enjoy it so much more!

Anyway to your questions!

I personally just use fin socks as I find them easier with the flippers!
I always put my socks under the wetsuit & have no problems but I'm sure some may say otherwise.

As for getting the boots off we've had a similar thread on here but to do with wetsuits. I remember, I believe SEASLAVE saying how she put her feet in carrier bags first & then in the suit

This may be helpful for your boots!

According to SEASLAVE they got those long shapely legs of hers into her wetsuit quicker without the usual wrestling match!

Most surf boots have a pull of strap on the back these days to help getting them on or off! Get the wettie over them on the outside or the water will flood in!! Good surf boots can be found up to £50 for good XCEL or Rip Curl boots. Check out below.

i always just pull from the top and turn them inside out to get them off all the water comes out that way too!
