Surf Rage?.
Has anyone seen in the news about the ammount of surf rage around the world.It turns out it is getting so bad,in Oz and the USA.Police are going to be patroling the waves on jet ski's.
What do you think about it?.

Its just like everything else thats good. Everyone wants a piece of the action, and will do anything to get it. These guys are not true surfers and dont abide by the surfers etiquett.
They should be bloody well shot. Hope the guards have guns!

You can bet yer bottom dollar it will be over her next year. With the upsurge of idiots wanting to learn to surf, the water is gonna get packed, and everyone's gonna want the best spot and the best waves.
Think all you diehard sufers are gonna have to find sum secret spots and not let on to too many others (present company exepted!)

Policing the surf . . . . now theres a job I could do.
As long as it includes the beach as well though. In the mornin I could do from Watergate to Towan, then fistral and a quick nip to Crantock in the afternoon !!!
Fast response surfboard, supercharged jet ski . . .

Mmmmm... it was in an article in the Times at the weekend. Now don't go gettin any ideas that I read the Times. It was a Newquay news alert, sent to me when it was published. I did forward it on to Ivan, so it might make an appearance on the site. But the basics are, he's planning to build a village/town, a couple of miles outside Newquay, using all local materials, in keeping with the history of the area.
Doubt if they will be low cost homes, where all the surfers can live at ease. I dread to think what the prices will be.
He has already built a place sosmewhere else in the south called Poundbury, and is supposed to resemble a similar place, called Seaside (in France i think).
Anyway, you should already know this, you live in the bl00dy place!
