19-21-09-2003: Winter to Surf Jersey BPSA Pro


Having recently secured a 9th place finish at the 6 star Tahara Pro, Japan. Gul Team rider Russell Winter has taken timeout from the WQS tour to head for the island of Jersey. This years Headworx/ Gul Jersey BPSA Pro is the largest event on the British Professional Tour attracting the UK?s top surfers with a few International?s thrown into the mix.

The event will be held at St Ouens Bay, Jersey from Friday 19th ? Sunday 21st September. This will be the first time Russell has surfed in the Jersey BPSA event, which promises to be one of the most exciting events on this years tour. In addition to Russell, Gul Team riders Llewellyn Whittaker, Josh Knowles and Mark Vaughan will also be surfing in Jersey and looking to better their 2003 BPSA rankings..

This is Gul?s first year as a sponsor of the Jersey BPSA and Marketing Manager Tom Crawford stated ? We are delighted to be involved with the Jersey BPSA, the venue can have excellent wave quality and with Russ surfing it should be an exciting event.?
