Newquay in late october/ early november?

hello

i posted this message in the B&B section too, but i didnt know which was more appropriate. sorry if you read it twice...

anyways,

i'm a surfer from the northeast part of the states (massachusetts and new hampshire). i'm at school in london for the year and i'd love to catch some waves in newquay at least once while i'm here. i was considering a weekend at the end of october or early november. are the waves relatively consistent then? i don't care if the water's cold (it gets down to 30's degrees fahrenheit at home), but i dont have any equipment with me. does anyone know if i'll be able to rent some decent stuff at that time of year? any recommendations on board and wetsuit rentals and cheap places to stay would be much appreciated!

pray for surf

thanks for the help,

USSurf
