Newquay/Cornwall in the summer event list
I think it would be a cool idea if an event list was started up of all the summer festivals beach parties,gigs and other fun shindigs thatll be happening in newquay this summer coming so people have got something to look foward to....all i can remember are:
Run to the sun

very true but you cant look at whats coming up next year theres no 2008 section i want to plan stuff now.......its the only thing that'll get me through the bitter winter

The problem lies in getting good reliable sources for these evnts who can give correct dates & inofrmation.
A lot of these events or venues change their dates or times quite frequently so an accurate guide for 2008 cannot be guaranteed.
Nice idea though & welcome to the forum GEMMAKATE.

k so im staying near hollywell bay for 16 weeks in the summer any hot spot beaches where theres the odd beach party or festival party like action going on?

Beach parties are rare now as the Police clamp down big time on these things using some very old legislation to do this.
Best thing to do once your there is keep an eye on the local media to events.

isn't it too early to plan for the whole year at these moments. there are a lot of events for this year for sure. I'm also looking forward to that.

Better to wait until your down here & then find out what is going on. A lot of the cafes have free annual guides to what is happening that year.
TADNNICKS in Newquay is a good place for these guides.
