What is the Media Apprentice?
NKE6.0 is on the hunt for one individual who will be catapulted into the action sports media world. You will be picked to join the offical NKE6.0 team, and given the envious opportunity to learn from some of the most renowned and respected photographers, filmers, journalists, editors, producers and designers in the action sports industry.
You will be kitted out with a range of Olympus camera hardware and will receive financial contributions towards media related equipment. On top of this you will receive a flow of NKE6.0 footwear throughout the year. This position can run side by side with on going studies and will provide you with opportunities and experience that money can’t buy.

You will get to document the NKE6.0 Team throughout 2006, following the team on ill Weekends and at events throughout the UK. They will help update the NKE6.0 website with news, rider profiles, images and mpegs.
So who are we looking for?
The Media Apprentice will have a background and active interest in action sports culture. We are looking for someone between the age’s of 16 and 20 who is fanatical about all elements of multimedia and will want to extend their knowledge and experience of photography, film, design and production.
You will need to be diligent, able to handle responsibility, interact with a wide variety of people and be available to travel around the UK.
How do I apply?
You will need to submit two of your best pieces of work on CD. This will be either film(under 2 minutes long) or a folder of photographs (maximum 10 photos per file). Your submission can either be 2 films, 2 folders or one of each.
Due to high demand, submitted entries will not be able to be returned, so all candidates are advised to make their own master copy.
The top ten entrants will be contacted and will be called for a chat, where they will be invited to show a portfolio of their work.
