 Ben Stiller rides "Big Wave"
 Ben Stiller is ready to hang 10, producing "Big Wave," a surfing comedy based on his own idea.
The story follows the world's greatest big wave surfer who, after being sidelined for years following a traumatic wipeout, decides to surf again in order to save a convalescent home for old surfers.
The 20th Century Fox project will be directed by Emmett and Brendan Malloy, who are known for making acclaimed surf videos as well as clips for the likes of rock bands Blink-182 and Foo Fighters. The script will be written by Brent Forrester, a one-time writer on "The Ben Stiller Show."
Stiller and business partner Stuart Cornfeld will produce via their Fox-based Red Hour production company. Red Hour produced the surprise Stiller hit "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" for Fox. |

well it certanly has a good pedigree. lets just hope it doesn't get horribly watered down for the masses (which it probably will  )

By the way,Stiller is so funny(and cringe inducing) in dodgeball.Most things hes been associated with are well worth a look so hopefully a surf movie should be good as it hasnt really been done too much and with his slant on it......
