Extreme sports land-yachting, kite-surfing and buggying are gearing up for the summer season again - and so are the rows.
Welsh beaches have become a mecca for the increasingly popular wind sports and this weekend enthusiasts will gather at Pembrokeshire's Newgale sands for one of the first events of 2006.
But while many are dusting off their wet-suits with excitement today, there are just as many concerned our beaches will again become scenes of strife.
Kite-surfers and land-yachters insist their activities are safe and do not bother the thousands of other beach-users who visit the Welsh shoreline each year...'
