Surfing film up for award

'A locally made film detailing the history of North Devon surf culture has been short-listed for a prestigious award recognising innovation in media.
The short movie, North Devon Surf History, was part-filmed by students from Braunton Community College and features extensive footage of local surfers in action, as well as interviews conducted with and by the pupils.
Produced and edited by Maniac Films - and commissioned by North Devon District Council's Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon as part of last year's Surf's Up! Exhibition - the film has been nominated for the Media Innovations Awards in the category of "Collaboration between business and young people"...'
