USS Arizona, Pearl Harbour. Some 2335 US soldiers were killed during the two-hour attack. Of those, 1177 died in the battleship USS Arizona, which took direct hit and sank in less than nine minutes. Here, I am standing above mass-grave, as all the bodies were left in the ship's hull. I came deliberatly to pay my respect to all those who perished on that faithfull morning. Goosepimple time!!! Twenty other ships were were sunk or seriously damaged and 188 planes were destroyed.
