Situated at the most northern end of St. Ives bay this beach break will pick up any swell. Left and right peaks are to be found along its length. It can be surfed at all tide stages. Good for beginners on mellower days. When it gets big watch out for strong currents at the northern end.
Driving north on B3301 you can either park at Gwithian village or pass through it and turn right as you cross a small bridge which will take you to a car park from where you can walk to the beach.
