Situated at the northern end of the Sennen Cove, Gwenver Beach is perfectly positioned to pick up swell. It is a beach break with shifting sand banks which can make good quality waves. Best from low to mid tide. Good for beginners but watch out for strong rips at the northern end, especially on a bigger days.
It can get fairly crowded nowadays, especially when decent surf is rolling in and weather is nice.

High season: Lifeguards and car park.
All year: Car park but not much else. For nearest facilities see Sennen.

You could spend long time driving around trying to find this jewel - here is how. Drive down the A30 towards Land's End and just before you enter Sennen, take the right turn into a small road that displays a sign like 'Tregiffian Farmhouse, self cater units'. Follow a beach sign written on a white stone and you will get there. You than face a long walk down to the beach and back up again. You can also reach Gwenver by walking along the beach from Sennen (15 min walk).
