Fairly good beach break. Southern end is somewhat sheltered from SW winds while Northern end is protected from North winds. Best at SE'rly (offshore). Constantly changing sand banks produce both left and right breaking peaks along its length. Works on all tide stages but low to high tends to be the best. Virtually deserted in low season. Good for beginners if conditions are not to big.
From A3075 follow signs to Holywell Bay from where you can drive to a village and park in one of several car parks on offer. Beach is five minutes walk away, along the stream and over the dunes.
High season: Lifeguards, toilets (situated in the village) plus basic equipment hire for the beginners.
