Kevin Short was born and raised in San Diego until he was fifteen when his family moved to New Mexico. It was there that Short gave up his childhood dream of studying chemistry and decided to pursue art. Short graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. After much exploration Short focused his skills on impressionistic plein air landscapes where he has found success. Short paints over 200 works a year mostly of the beach and the desert; the two places he calls home. |
