Beach break that can throw some good waves at all tide stages but the best wave is to be found at the northern end, peeling away off the harbour wall. Can get crowded during summer months. Good for beginners but watch out for rocks at low tide.
Traveling from the north use B3300 and traveling from the south use B3301 which will bring you to the Portreath village.
High season: Lifeguards.
All year: Car park at the beach, surf shop with equipment hire, toilets, restaurants, pubs and shops.
