:: NOAA/NCEP WAVEWATCH III Plots - North
Atlantic
[ Wave Height and Wave Direction ]
../..the animation images are animated
GIFs, one frame every 0.75 second from 00 to 120 hours
at 6 hour intervals. Peak wave period and peak wave direction
plots facilitate seeing swell fronts as they move across
an ocean basin. Maps are initialized twice daily at 00:00hrs
GMT and 12:00hrs GMT with NOAA/NCEP/OMB 3rd generation
WAM Wave data.
