Whipsiderry Beach is Newquay's hidden gem and so it is very quiet even in high season during summer months. Access is via steep concrete steps and this is the only way out at anything other than low tide. Gently sloping sandy bottom ensures waves break along lengt of this beach break, both left and right.
There is NO LIFEGUARD SERVICE operating at Whipsiderry Beach. Be warned that there is a serious threat of being cut off by a mid to high tide. Make sure you know tide times and be aware of your surroundings and water levels.

Beach Access

Whipsiderry Beach is located on the outskirts of Newquay past Porth Beach, on the Watergate Road (B3276) road from Newquay to Padstow. As you pass Porth Beach and climb to the top of the hill, Whipsiderry is on your left. There is no official car park, but some spaces could be found alongside main road.
