This beach break seems to be very popular with everyone and gets crowded in summer months. It is a long body of sand at low to mid tide with peaks along its length. It can be surfed at all stages of tide but beware of low rocks which are submerged from mid to high tide. Good for beginners but as mentioned earlier watch out for rocks.
If on A39 take a minor signposted road to Widmouth. You can also get there from Bude by driving south on a coastal road. There is a big car park at the beach.
